Adelmo is currently a Master's candidate in Learning, Design, and Technology program at Stanford University, USA. Prior to that, he worked on the design of professional development programs in CS Education in partnership with Departments of Education and local Universities in Brazil. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering both from the University of São Paulo (USP) in Brazil.
Danielle is a third-year undergraduate student in the Symbolic Systems Program at Stanford University. She studies Human-Computer Interaction and is pursuing a minor in Education. Having tutored and mentored kids from ages 3 to 17, Danielle is interested in discovering ways to make learning more equitable and more accessible. Her past experiences include: founding an after-school science program for fourth graders; developing an English course for low-income students in Brazil; and analyzing ESOL education strategy at a non-profit in New York City.
Kavindya is currently a dean’s fellow at the Stanford Graduate School of Education pursuing a Masters in Learning, Design and Technology with a research focus on Social, Emotional Learning (SEL) and Metacognition. In 2014 she co-founded Without Borders; a social enterprise focused on designing innovative learning and training tools for local schools and educators. The organization runs four Idea Labs across Sri Lanka and has trained 2600+ young people and local teachers in design thinking, problem solving and creative learning pedagogies.
